To screw thieves from stealing you vehicle registration plates you can get special anti theft, one-way screws. You can get them from auto and hardware stores and some local divisions of state or territory police services/forces will provide them free of charge or for a small fee. Contact your local law enforcement agency to find out more. There are a few different sizes of screws so you will need to make sure that they will fit the make/model/year of your vehicle and to install the only thing you need is a flat tip screw driver.

Alcohol Killer – A new drink on the market (from Austria) that claims to beat the side effects of alcohol. They encourage people to make it the last drink of the night before going to bed and then again in the morning if needed. Not only does it claim that it reduces hang over affects such as nausea vomiting, headache and all the other glamorous things that we experience after having a great night it also claims to reduce blood alcohol content (BAC). Interestingly the drink is currently being investigated by NZ Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to see if the drink complies with food legislation requirements ( Stuff , 2012 ). Eww I wouldn’t have bought it to try it but was able to get a free sample from a promotion they did at a public event. I did notice that a lot of people who had seen the stand were understandably very suspicious and were warning people that it might be dodgy. The clock on Click Frenzy still says an hour to go even though it is already 1900 AEDT and now I can't even access the website at all! Anyone else had success? This just in!! Peep Show Series 8 was first reported to be airing in the UK 9th November, which was then pushed back to late November. Now, there is a conflict between 25th November ( British Comedy Guide , 14 Nov 2012) and 30th November ( TV Guide , 14 Nov 2012). I Will be keeping an eye out on the 25th just in case but banking on the release being 30th based on my assessment of the references. If you know anymore POST IT!! If you've seen the Inbetweeners movie you probably think that you've seen it all...there were actually 3 tv series of great comedy that came before it. And if you really enjoyed the movie than make sure you check out all 3 series for more laughs. Even if you didn't like the movie, I think the tv series was heaps better. Hopefully this is clear enough for you to see. I am trying to work out what the hell is going on with my strawberry plant. Firstly, it had aphids so I sat down, picked of as many aphids as I could and applies a very weak detergent solution to kill the rest. A couple of months later there is this pink/white furry weirdness happening on the top of the leaves but mostly on the bottom. To touch, it is very dry and dusty but the leaves remain hydrated. The plant is still flowering and fruiting, and had full foliage. I've done a bit of googling and reading but hard to know if I'm asking the right questions. If you know what is going on, please post a comment so I can fix it up.

These are the lovely, almost ripe strawberries that I have grown in my veranda garden. I was very proud that I was able to grow them. Them I came out one morning and my strawberries, tomatoes and chillies were ALL GONE! I was really disappointed cause I had done so well. Bede was my first suspect but after interrogations he has been eliminated from my list of suspects :P High on the list are birds (lots on the area), possums (could be living in the massive tree in front of our flat), and bats (plenty getting around, plus warmer weather). I will need to either set up some surveillance or try a few different methods to try and eliminate suspects. Like, netting on the pots, plastic snake, fake owl, and shiny/reflective things. If anyone else know what the hell is eating my garden please let me know. A half eaten strawberry Tomato seeds left all over the place

It's not actually mould. If you look closely it's quite different to mould. It is in fact a build up of salts and minerals . I noticed this on my pot ages ago but wasn't too worried about it as it seemed to have no effect on the plant itself. After a bit of googling, flicking through my gardening books and reflecting on my current gardening practices I'm confidant that it is salt build up. I appears on the base of the pot and over a couple of months I have noticed it "growing" up the sides, but I believe that it can also build up on the top soil. Although I think this may be less noticeable. Commonly caused by the plant and pot becoming water logged - over watered, nutrient fed and poor drainage . This combination of factors has resulted in the plant being unable to draw up any more water and the roots and soil are sitting in the surplus water in the bottom of the pot. How to Get Rid of it Cut down on watering and check if the plant requires watering

Jim and Wilson the lovely dog Woot! A whole new series of Friday Night Dinner! Loved the first hilarious series and the second has certainly delivered. We catch up with the same dysfunctional Jewish family and freaky, weird, make-your-skin-crawl Jim. 6 more episodes where we meet a bit more of grandma and girlfriends. Simon Bird, from Inbetweeners, plays Adam - better know as Pusface. Very similar to the character he played in Inbetweeners actually, same quirky/nerdy way. If you liked season one of Fresh Meat than you will love season 2. Episode 1 of season 2 was a bit of a stinker but I think they felt that they had to re-establish the characters for the audience. But once you get past that, it's back to the awesome it had before.  New house mate joins the team and the vibe is just as awkward as ever. At the end of season 1 Kingsley and Josie's relationship was really weird...this has not changes a bit. Infact I think it gets worse.  Only another 8 episodes like the first season but I hope they keep going because I'm sure the show has another couple of seasons of hilariousness to offer us. Very exciting! Peep Show Series 8 is due to air Autumn 2012 in the UK. We had been given an air date which has since been removed from all entertainment websites. "Peep Show won't be returning on November 9 as previously touted, but will instead be back at the end of the month" (Digital Spy, 2 Nov, 2012). David Mitchell has said that the series focuses on the conflict between living with Dobby and Jeremy. I ran out of perfume ages ago and didn’t want to go back to my local Avon dealer because I thought she was a complete mental. And I have been putting off getting another on for so long because I didn’t want to get something I wouldn’t like. Finally got around to going shopping when I was on holidays and spent ages smelling heaps of different perfumes until I found a couple that I quite likes and then got Bede to decide (seeing as he has to smell it all the time). It was between Sara Jessica Parker Lovely and Mariah Carey Perfume for Women. They both smell really nice but Bede picked Mariah Carey (as pictured on the left). I love the smell, it comes in a cute little bottle and was only $29.95 for 50mL (at Chemist Warehouse).

I have super curly hair and when it’s dry it is frizzy, uncontrollable and CRAZY! My hair dresser recommended ‘Juuce Kinky' for my hair and she has recommended well! I have never left my hair down after washing it because I don’t like how puffy it gets but now I leave it down all the time. Juice doesn’t make my hair feel yucky or sticky; it feels soft and smells nice. But most importantly, instead of fuzz I get to enjoy my lovely long curls. I got it on special from my salon for $20 which I find to be quite reasonable but could probably hunt for a bargain online I think.

I have been trying to get this dress from everywhere and finally struck success today. Saw it on the Target Online store for $59.00 a few weeks ago, didn't have my size in stock so I went to a few different Target stores and they had everything except my size as well. Just to be doubly sure that I had missed out I visited the very first store that I check again and found it the second I walked in the store. So glad I looked again - its very cute. I even got it for $47.20 in the Melbourne Cup dress sale :D Very happy!
