Have been using these Gillette razors for years now thinking that shaving legs was just always going to be annoying and painful....that was until today....I didn't have any razors left and the last one got thrown because it had cut me for the last time. So I used one of my husband's travel razors - they are just Bic Twin Blade disposables and they were amazing!!! Having a new Gillette never made any difference. Even getting one straight out of the packet still resulted in painful leg scrapings and rash from breaking the skin. I think it is just a shit razor and can't believe I put up with if for so long, buying the same thing. I recommend that anyone else having trouble finding a good razor to try Bic Disposable Twin Blade. So simple and cheap but it gets the best results - smooth, cut free, rash free, sexy legs :P

Previous post: Just purchased The Casual Vacancy Post Chapter One So, I've finished chapter one...I won't reveal any spoilers (don't want to ruin it for anyone) the scene is well and truly set and I hope the next chapter gets the show on the road. I love J.K.'s style of writing, the way she describes the world in her books and if you enjoyed that in the Harry Potter books you will like this one. However, there isn't as much action (mind' I've only read the first chapter...). It may improve...will provide an update when I get further in :)

Sugar craving's inspired me to do this.... :) Thick layer of Nutella and creamy vanilla ice cream in a Arnott's milk arrowroot sandwich. Yummo! Bede thought it tasted quite similar  to a Maxibon ice cream....

Will fit about 3 or 4 x that in the container Since using the Hippo Moisture Absorber there has been a noticable reduction in the amount of mould on my leather shoes. I think the Hippo was about $5 a unit from the hardware store. For ages I didn't think it was actually doing anything but I check it today and after a couple of months it had a fair bit of water in it (see the picture below). Aside from moisture and bacteria in shoes some cupboards just make good incubators for mould and living in a rental there is very little I can do about the design of it. Also living very near the beach also does not help my leather shoes. When I get energetic I will expand on this post with more treatments for mouldy shoes...

Just got a copy of J .K. Rowling's new book The Casual Vacancy for  steal at $20 on ebay. Look forward to reading it despite the mixed reviews on the web. Will let you all know what I think when I get into it. If anyone else has read it leave a comment and let me know what you thought.... Over a year of gardening is starting to pay off. We did have some harvest last season but this time is expectedly heaps better. Beautiful chillies My special chilli... This is a strawberry flower - very cute Bunch of cherrie tomatoes This is a baby strawberry!!! He has to grow into his seeds :P FINALLY! Rosemary! Have been trying to germinate these seeds for soooooo long.
